Disconnect Netscape from our software:
- Print out these instructions! After you start following them you won't be able
to scroll this window down to see the rest of these instructions.
- Start Netscape 3 and make sure that you are connected to the Internet and can browse.
- Select "Options" and "Network Preferences..." from
Netscape's top menu, as shown on the right.
The "Preferences" form will pop up, as shown below.
- Click on the tab labeled "Proxies".
- If "Manual proxy configuration" is already checked on the Proxies form,
check "No Proxies".
- If "Automatic proxy configuration" is checked, contact your system
administrator to find out what script you should use instead of the
script that uses the Guidescope software.
- Reconfiguration is complete. Your browser is now configured to
not use the Guidescope service. Verify that you can browse
before proceeding. You can safely remove
the Guidescope software from your computer
