What do blocked ads look like?
|
Guidescope gives you control over how a blocked graphic "appears".
You can either have your browser draw an outlined icon in place of the blocked
graphic or you can have it leave a blank space where the blocked graphic would
have been. In both cases, the blocked graphic is not downloaded.
The appearance of blocked graphics is set as part of your
User Profile.

Using two Guidescope Menus
| |
The Ad Block On/Off indicators and Start/Stop Block traffic lights might not indicate properly on
the Guidescope Menu on our home page if you use the Guidescope Menu in
the small window on your desktop to turn blocking on or off while our
home page is displayed. (The Guidescope Menu on your desktop always
indicates correctly.) If this happens, reload our home page to make
sure that the indicators there are correct.
