For all systems, put your browser's manual proxy settings back the way
you found them during initial installation and make sure that you can
connect to the Internet. Once you have done this, you are no longer
using the Guidescope service and you can remove the Guidescope software.

If you don't remember how your browser's manual proxy settings were configured
before installing the Guidescope software, the instructions
here can help you find out. These instructions cover most cases for home
users. If you have an unusually complex proxy
configuration, then you should contact your system administrator for help.
Your forward.ini file contains the
address of the proxy you are using. Open the file (using any text editor) and write down
the address and port you find there. You will use the address and port while restoring
your browser's settings:
