How to Use AOL with Our Software

It's easy to use Guidescope with AOL:
 
  1. To use the Guidescope service with AOL, first install another browser, such as Netscape or Microsoft IE. Another browser is needed because AOL's proprietary browser is incompatible with Guidescope software. (Microsoft IE comes with Windows and AOL CD-ROMs, so you probably already have it installed on your computer.)
     
  2. Once you have another browser installed, go to our products page. Follow the instructions there to download and install the Guidescope software.
     
  3. Once the Guidescope software is installed and running, set up your browser to use our software. Select one of the following sets of instructions:
     
  4. Dial up and log into AOL just as you normally do. (You don't need to change any of your dial-up settings.) When you are connected, close the proprietary AOL browser and open the other browser to surf faster, safer, and easier.
