Business users may try the Guidescope service for free for 30 days.
After the free trial period, a fee will be required to continue using
the service.
Support services and a special version of our service is available for
business users who would prefer to run our database server in-house,
thereby eliminating the need for queries to our central database server. Please

Nonprofits and Educational Institutions

Nonprofit 501(3)(c) and educational institutions may use
the Guidescope service for free, but we do ask that you
register here.
Support services and a special version of our service are available for
larger institutions that would prefer to run our database server in-house,
thereby eliminating the need for queries to our central database server. Please

Internet Connection Requirements

Guidescope software works as a proxy between your browser and your
Internet connection. Our service requires an Internet connection that
honors your browser's proxy settings. (Our
installation instructions
walk you through browser set up.) Guidescope software does not work
with some free ISPs that override your browser's proxy settings, such as
Juno, Excite's FreeLane, Tiny Online, and Freeserve.
Guidescope does work with free ISPs that don't override your browser's proxy settings,
such as NetZero or
BlueLight.
Special Note: We've received reports from users that copies of IE
supplied by some free ISPs (such as Juno) have been modified by the
supplier to ignore proxy settings. Such browsers will not work with the
Guidescope service. If you have such a browser, then we suggest getting
a fresh copy directly from
Microsoft.
